Yash's ‘Toxic’ postponed due to Middle East crisis; set to avoid clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’
Kannada star Yash’s highly awaited film, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,’ has been officially postponed. The film, set to hit the silver screen, has now been pushed due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
“‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ will now be released in cinemas across the globe in English and Indian languages on 4th June 2026. See you at the movies,” he added.

New release date
The makers announced via their social media handle that the movie will be released on June 4, 2026. With this change, the movie will also avoid a big box office clash with Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ directed by Aditya Dhar.Why the delay?
Explaining the reason for the delay, Yash mentioned that the movie, shot in both English and Kannada, is meant to connect globally. Due to uncertainty in the Middle East, their release plans were affected, as the region is an important market. Hence, the makers decided to postpone the release.Maker’s social media note

However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience. Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release.
