Varun Dhawan wants to meet the Karnataka Home Minister

Actor Varun Dhawan will be in Bangalore tomorrow to promote his next film, Mein Tera Hero, along with his co-star in the movie Ileana D'Cruz. While he is in Bangalore, the young Bollywood star is said to be keen to meet Karnataka Home Minister KJ George. The reason: Varun wants to thank George for sanctioning the extension of the city's nightlife deadline from 11.30 pm to 1 am.
It is said that Varun, who has spent some time shooting in Bangalore, would want to paint the town red after he had wrapped up shooting for the day, but couldn't find anywhere to hang out late at night because of the 11.30 pm deadline. The actor is said to be excited about the deadline extension and will even hit three nightspots with Ileana on Saturday night -- Bierre Republic, Geoffrey's and Sanctum -- to promote their film's party track, Shanivaar Raati and celebrate Saturday night partying with the city’s youngsters.
The stars are also slated to make an appearance to Inorbit Mall Whitefield when they are in Bangalore.
