Shivarajkumar's award-winning films

Sandalwood actor Shivarajkumar, the eldest son of the popular yesteryear actor Rajkumar, has done a variety of films every since his debut in the film industry. The actor, who has won titles such as Hatrick Hero, Shivanna, Century Star and Sandalwood King from his fans and admirers, has won several awards for his work.
1. Om-1995
The film Om, directed by actor Upendra, was Shivarajkumar's first award-winning film. The film, which was critically acclaimed for making people aware about Bangalore's criminal underworld, featured Shivarajkumar in the role of a preist's son who becomes a rowdy for love. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for this film.

Nammoora Mandara Hoove-1997The film, directed by Sunil Kumar Desai, was appreciated for its characters and strong story line. The film, which was also remade in Tamil, brought Shivarajkumar the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

AK 47- 1999AK 47 was a turning point in Shivanna's career. The actor, who featured in a pivotal role in this action film, even won the Filmfare Best Actor Award. This was a landmark film as it not only took him to another level, but was also his 50th film.

The film, directed by TS Nagabharana, is based on a novel of the same name by Shivaram Karanth. The film received critical acclaim but failed to do well at the box office. Nonetheless, Shivarajkumar was appreciated and even received a Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor.
