‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ box office collections day 11: Tovino starrer mints Rs 64 crores worldwide
Good days have finally stepped in for the Malayalam film industry as several newly released films are minting good numbers at the box office. Among them, Tovino’s period action drama movie ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ surely holds the crown as it has now minted Rs 64 crores worldwide.
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ has collected Rs 64 crore within 11 days worldwide and Rs 37.51 crores India net collections. India Gross collections now stand at Rs 39.4 crores and the Overseas collections are Rs 24.6 crores. The Tovino starrer made its highest on day 5 with Rs 4.6 crores at the KBO. On day 11, the movie minted Rs 3.66 crores from Kerala.
Overall, the collections for ‘ARM’ are surely impressive with a slight dip from days 7 to 9, recovered on days 10 and 11. The Malayalam Net box office collections for the film stand at Rs 34.67 crores in 11 days. With good reviews pouring in and no other major competitions ahead, the debutant Jithin Lal’s ‘ARM’ will surely rake in more numbers in the coming days.
Etimes rated ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’, a solid 3.5 out of 5. Our review read, “Ajayante Randam Moshanam is a visual spectacle, through and through. Amidst this, the Tovino vehicle - where he plays the central character in different eras - keeps audiences engaged with myth, fantasy, nostalgia and, not to miss, caste politics. The film is split into three time periods, starting with 1900, and linked by a vilakku (idol with lamps), made by the Edakkal king with a ‘celestial stone’. Tovino, in his first avatar as kalari master Kunjikelu, saves the king’s land from a foreign invasion, and in return for his help, he asks for the vilakku, which presents to his village.”
