Roshan Mathew is all praise for
Rajesh Madhavan’s debut directorial ‘Pennum Porattum’. In a note shared on his Instagram story, the ‘Chatha Pacha’ actor cheered for the recent Malayalam release.
Roshan Mathew revealed that he rewatched the film, and was blown away by ‘Pennum Porattum’. “Rewatched @rajeshmadhavan's #PennumPorattum. today and I'm blown away once again by how smart, witty, and entertaining this film is!” Roshan Mathew said.
He added, “What this team has achieved is a miracle given a chance. This movie will speak to you like no other. give chance?”

What you should know about ‘Pennum Porattum’?
‘Pennum Porattum’ is the debut directorial of Malayalam actor Rajesh Madhavan, who is best known for his films ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’, ‘Android Kunjappan Version 5.25’, ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’, ‘Archana 31 Not Out’, and ‘Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha’. Raina Radhakrishnan, Rajesh Madhavan, Subhash Chandran, Shanooj Alanallur, and Satheesh Pulikka appear in lead roles in the film. Set in a village in Palakkad, the film revolves around a young woman and a pet dog who turn victims of public rage, following unsubstantiated rumours.
‘Pennum Porattum’ was earlier screened at the 56th International Film Festival of India and the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala in 2025, where it was met with huge appreciation.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Roshan Mathew was last seen in ‘Chatha Pacha’, an action comedy by debutant Adhvaith Nayar. The film, set against the backdrop of the wrestling culture of Kochi, also features Arjun Ashokan, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in the lead roles.
