Musician Gopi Sundar has opened up about the circumstances that led him to step in for
Dileep’s film ‘Bha. Bha. Ba.’ just days before its release. The musician recalled that the makers called him at the last minute to compose music.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Gopi Sundar opened up about the sudden change in the music department of ‘Bha. Bha. Ba’. He composed the background music for the film. Recalling the incident, Gopi Sundar said, “It was the same with Bha. Bha. Ba. It came to me at the last minute. Maybe they felt another composer wouldn’t be able to finish it within the given time. It wasn’t because of my talent or affection. They probably thought only this guy could get it done in this timeframe.”
Gopi Sundar further revealed that Dileep himself requested to ‘save’ the film. “The December 18 release date couldn’t be changed. In that do-or-die situation, Dileepettan suddenly called me and said, ‘Gopi, there’s a film. You have to do it. You have to save it.’ He told me it should be a film where people who come to the theatre don’t think too much — they should just switch off their brains, dance, sing along, and enjoy.
”
Meanwhile, ‘Bha. Bha. Ba’ starring Dileep hit the theatres on December 18, 2025. The film also featured Mohanlal in an extended cameo role. Siblings Vineeth and Dhyan Sreenivasan were also part of the cast. Gopi Sundar’s BGM received a great response. In a previous post shared on Instagram, the musician acknowledged the positive response to his work and said, “Getting overwhelming love for my BGM in Bha Bha Ba. Truly happy to be part of this journey. Thankful for all the support — more music on the way.” Shaan Rahman composed the songs for the film.
