Apart from being a celebrated performer,
Mohanlal is admired for his personality and outlook on life.
Now,
Esther Anil, who played his daughter in the Drishyam franchise, has spoken about the lessons she learned from him. She shared her thoughts during an interview with Originals.
The lesson that stayed with Esther Anil
During the interaction, Esther was asked about the most important lesson she learned from Mohanlal. She responded, "There are many lessons. The most important one is to always keep a childlike nature within you. To remain a child at heart—that is the biggest thing I have taken from him. It is something I love the most. A continuation of that is the next point—let things go. Don’t hold on too tightly to anything."
She added, " Lal uncle is not someone who worries about things like that. What people wrote in newspapers today, what they might write tomorrow, whether today was good or tomorrow might be bad—he is not someone who gets bothered by all this. It’s like he doesn’t belong to this world. He gets very excited about small things,"
'Drishyam 3' release update
Meanwhile, one of the most awaited Malayalam films is 'Drishyam 3'. The film was initially planned for a theatrical release on April 2.
The movie is now set to arrive in theatres on May 21, which coincides with Mohanlal’s birthday. The film continues the story from Drishyam 2, which was released in 2021. Recently, the film 'Drishyam 2', which originally had a direct OTT release initially, had a theatrical release, which unfortunately didn't receive much traction.
'Patriot' early reports
At the same time, Mohanlal is set to appear alongside Mammootty in Patriot, which is scheduled for release on May 1. The film has already generated early buzz.
In a post shared on X, AB George mentioned that the overseas censor process is nearing completion. He also indicated that initial feedback has been positive.
The tweet reads, "#Patriot overseas censoring - all areas completing one by one & reports suggest that the movie comes out well. Meaty role & duration for both Ms. #Mammookka #Lalettan."
