Dulquer Salmaan shared a still of himself as Charlie, instantly triggering nostalgia among fans. Along with the image, he wrote, “#10YearsOfCharlie. Some stories are felt forever.” The post captured the deep emotional connect the film continues to enjoy even a decade after its release.
Released in 2015, Charlie went on to become a cult favourite. Directed by Martin Prakkat, the film stood out for its lyrical storytelling and visually poetic treatment. It followed a free-spirited man whose outlook on life quietly transforms those he encounters. Alongside Dulquer Salmaan, the film starred Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead, along with Aparna Gopinath, Nedumudi Venu, and Soubin Shahir.

Dulquer Salmaan continues to stay busy with a slate of new projects. One of his most anticipated upcoming ventures is a Telugu film tentatively titled DQ41, which has already begun generating buzz online.
The makers recently welcomed actor Dheekshith Shetty on board and shared the update on Instagram. Announcing the news, they wrote, “Team #DQ41 wishes the versatile @dheekshithshettyofficial a very Happy Birthday. Your hard work and passion for cinema make you truly special. Excited to have you on board for this special film.”
The announcement has further heightened excitement around DQ41, especially among fans eager to see Dulquer in a fresh Telugu outing.
Dulquer was last seen in Kaantha, a period crime drama starring Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, and Rana Daggubati.
