Exclusive! Kerala government is devotedly working to fight Coronavirus pandemic: Filmmaker Bhadran
Kerala is setting an example in front of the world on how to tackle the Coronavirus outbreak. The efficient planning prior to the outbreak and the timely execution of those plans is helping Kerala to flatten the curve when many other states in the country are witnessing an upsurge in the number of the infected. Mollywood filmmaker Bhadran who is best known for his movie ‘Spadikam’ opens up about his thoughts on the pandemic.

In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the veteran director shares that he is proud of the state and its government, who are taking fruitful measures to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
“We will overcome this for sure,” filmmaker Bhadran says without a doubt sharing his thoughts on the pandemic. “Kerala government is devotedly working to fight the Coronavirus pandemic,” Bhadran adds clearly expressing his admiration for the State and the medical professionals, authorities and all others who are working towards fighting the pandemic.
“The service and effort put by the police to curb the community spread is truly priceless. Also, the nurses, doctors, and other medical professionals are selflessly working to save lives,” Bhadran further adds.
“Although the state has flattened the Coronavirus curve, the government isn’t taking it with ease, which is very important,” Bhadran says praising the state for staying alert and vigilant all the time.
The filmmaker was about to start the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Joothan’ in April. As the filmmaker was going to don the director’s cap again after a gap of 14 years, the movie buff was eagerly waiting. But the Coronavirus outbreak has forced the director to call off the shoot. “We will overcome this. I am not skeptical about that. But there is a set back for all of this. I think it would take about 5-6 months for the entertainment industry to get back to the normal stage. Even my upcoming movie ‘Joothan’, the dates of the actors are going to clash. It will take some time, but this time will also pass,” the filmmaker concludes on a positive note.
