Jayasurya begins dubbing for ‘Aadu 3’; to return with time-travel twist this March

Jayasurya has started dubbing for his highly anticipated film ‘Aadu 3’. Directed by Mdihun Manuel Thomas, the upcoming film is the third instalment of the Malayalam franchise.

On Tuesday, January 27, Jayasurya took to his Instagram handle and revealed that he has started dubbing for ‘Aadu 3’. “Aadu 3. Dubbing,” Jayasurya said. He also shared pictures from the dubbing suite. Director Midhun Manuel Thomas and actor-producer Vijay Babu were also present at the dubbing session.

Starring Jayasurya, ‘Aadu 3’ is one of the highly anticipated upcoming films in Malayalam. The makers had earlier launched the character posters, which hinted that time travel could be a part of the plot in ‘Aadu 3’.

Jayasurya, who played the role of Pannimattathil Shaji Pappan, was introduced as ‘His Majesty’ in the poster. “His Majesty! Past Awakens!” the caption read. Jayasurya appeared in the garb of a king in the poster, which sparked curiosity among film lovers.

Similarly, other characters such as Arakkal Abu, played by Saiju Kurup, appeared as the Commander-in-Chief! Vinayakan was seen in the garb of a warrior. The makers introduced him as the Conqueror. In the previous instalments, he essayed the role of an eccentric gangster named Dude. In the new poster, Indrans was introduced as a feudal lord - The Upsurper. Vijay Babu was presented as The Grand Architect, while in the original, he played the role of SI Sarbath Shameer.

‘Aadu 3’ to release on March 19

Helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, ‘Aadu 3’ will hit the big screens by March 19. While wrapping the shoot on January 10, Vijay Babu announced the release date. “9 months… 127 days of shoot… We are packed up! Our entertainment is coming… Let the fun begin!” he said, in a post shared on Instagram. Vijay Babu also announced the release date of the film. “See you in theatres on 19th March 2026,” he said.
