‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ box office collections: Asif Ali’s film hits highest on day 11, mints Rs 24.55 crores

After the success of Jis Joy’s directorial, Asif Ali is again on his next superhit as the recently released mystery thriller ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ is raking in magnificent numbers at the box office.According to the Sacnilk website, the Asif Ali starrer has recorded its highest at the KBO on day 11 with Rs 4.1 crores (early estimates) on a single day. The Malayalam net box office collections for the film in 11 days stand at Rs 24.55 crores. The Worldwide collection for the movie is now at Rs 39 crores and the India Gross for 11 days is Rs 23.5 crores. Coming to Overseas figures, ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ has minted Rs 15.5 crores, which is very impressive for an Asif Ali starrer.

‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ opened at Rs 45 lakhs on day 1 with Rs 65 lakhs, Rs 1.35 crores, Rs 1,95 crores, Rs 2.5 crores, Rs 2.6 crores, Rs 2.35 crores, Rs 2.3 crores, Rs 2.65 crores, Rs 3.65 crores and Rs 4.1 crores in the rest of the days. This steady momentum surely looks promising and with good reviews from every corner, ‘Kishkindha Kaandam, directed by Dinjith Ayyatham of ‘Kakshi Amminipilla’ fame, is surely the surprise winner of this year in Mollywood.
‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ also features the actors Vijayaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, and Jagadish in pivotal roles, with their performances getting wide appreciation from the audiences. On the other hand, Asif Ali’s previous outing was with the feel-good film ‘Adios Amigo’ which also had the actor Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead. The movie received mediocre reviews from the audiences.
