Mammootty: We enjoy Avengers sequels without any complaints, why not let Raja do the same?

Megastar Mammootty is on a high this year – starring in critically acclaimed films such as Peranbu and Yatra. Up next in Malayalam for him is a thorough commercial fare, MaduraRaja that is the spin-off of the superhit Pokkiri Raja.
Recently, the actor was asked in a press meet in Dubai as to why he had opted to do the follow-up of a film he had done a decade ago, and Mammootty had a witty reply at hand.“Human values or emotions do not change with time. This movie is about the good triumphing over evil. We enjoy franchise films like Avengers without any complaints, so why the grouse when ‘paavam Raja’ attempts that?” he quipped.
The movie, which is directed by Vysakh, is set to hit theatres on April 12. Salim Kumar, Sunny Leone, Jai and Anusree are also part of its cast.
