Maria goes de-glam in her M'wood debut

Though her Mollywood debut, 'Shalil Kallur���s Dolls', saw her making a speedy exit even before the commencement of the shoot, Maria John is making a comeback of sorts with Salam Bappu���s multi-starrer 'Red Wine'. The modelturned-actress will be seen in a deglamorous avatar in her debut flick.
Maria plays the role of Jasmine, a Hyderabadi Muslim, in the film.���She is a simple girl, and I���m sure audience will love her for her simplicity,��� says Maria, without delving into more details.
The film will see her sharing screen space with Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali. The buzz is that she is paired opposite Fahadh in the movie. Meghana Raj, Mia and Anusree also play prominent roles in the film. Red Wine is set for a March release.
Maria made her acting debut with the yet-to-be-released Dwarka���s cricket-based movie, Chennai Super Kings. It will hit the screens in April.
