Mohanlal’s ‘Monster’ to clash with Karthi’s ‘Sardar’ and Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Prince’ for Diwali in Kerala

Mohanlal’s film with Vysakh - ‘Monster’ is gearing up for release. The makers of the film are reportedly aiming for a festival release. If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to lock the release on October 21, Diwali. And if so, the Mohanlal starrer with be locking horns with two Tamil movies - ‘Sardar’ and ‘Prince’ in the cinemas in Kerala.

‘Monster’ has Mohanlal essaying the lead role of Lucky Singh. The film also has Sidhique, Manchu Lakshmi, Honey Rose, Ganesh Kumar, Lena, and Sudev Nair in pivotal roles.

‘Monster’ is coming from the makers of ‘the blockbuster ‘Pulimurugan. Director Vysakh and scriptwriter Udaykrishna are the backbone of ‘Monster’.

‘Sardar’ features Karthi in the lead role. The action-spy thriller is directed by PS Mithran. The film also has Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Pandey, and Laila in pivotal roles.

‘Prince’ on the other hand has Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film is directed by Anudeep KV. ‘Prince’ also marks Sivakarthikeyan’s first Telugu-Tamil bilingual release. Both ‘Sardar’ and ‘Prince’ are slated for release on October 21.
