Vinayan to direct a fantasy movie again

Director Vinayan, who has always chosen to tread the path less travelled in Mollywood, is all set to direct a 3D fantasy movie, titled Little Superman. But don’t get carried away by its title. If the makers are to be believed, the movie has nothing to do with the Superman that we are all too familiar with. It is reportedly a children’s movie, which revolves around a small boy with super powers, and his companion, a dog.
“The plot of the movie narrates the tale of a boy who inherits supernatural powers while inside the womb of his mother. It portrays the revenge of that child against injustice existing in society,” says Vinayan. Apparently, the movie layered with reality and fantasy will be a complete entertainer with songs and comedy.
The director, who would like to try something different with each film, says the success of his last 3D fantasy outing, Dracula, has prompted him to take up yet another project in 3D. “While shooting for Dracula, I was quite sceptical about the success of the movie. But now I know what my audience want from me,” says Vinayan and adds that Little Superman will see a host of Hollywood technicians on board.
Debutant child artist Deny will play the title role of the little superman. Bollywood star Jacky Shroff and veteran actor Madhu will also be seen playing prominent roles in the movie. Little Superman will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, says the director.
