#Whatif ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel partners. Today let me take you to the western Hollywood cinema where we will be meeting the legend, Clint Eastwood who will take us on a ride to his classic film ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’. While you take a ride with the legendary actor, Simon will show you all the possibilities of Whatif ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’ was made in Mollywood. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “Today we are really fortunate to be entering the world of the legendary actor Clint Eastwood’s classic movie ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’. Kindly take a pen and paper along while on our journey as you would be needing to take note of the classic dialogues uttered by the actor in the movie. So kindly pass me the tickets as ETimes presents the 38th episode #Whatif ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: ‘Man with no name’ as Babu Antony

#Simon Says, “Here comes the legend, Clint Eastwood. The way he walks, the way he holds his cigar, and utters that classic dialogue, “Every Gun Makes Its Own Tune.” Arey Wah! This man is actually irreplaceable with any other actor in the whole film industry. But if someone plans to make a Mollywood remake of ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’, then the actor who is close to the style and swag of Clint Eastwood is none other than the vintage Babu Antony.”

Possibility 2: Tuco as Soubin Shahir

#Simon Says, “The character Tuco is the ‘Bad’ in ‘The Good, Bad, and the Ugly’. Most times the character does bad things but sometimes he stands for what is just. Coming to the Mollywood remake it would be apt for the Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir to reprise the role of Tuco. Surprisingly, Soubin has played such a similar crooked character in the Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Carbon’, and for the same reason, playing Tuco would be a cakewalk for him.”

Possibility 3: Angel eyes as Murali

#Simon Says, “Angel eyes aka ‘the Ugly’ is indeed one of the best villain characters of all time and all thanks to the late Hollywood actor Lee Van Cleef who breathed life into the character flawlessly and convincingly. There is a sense of ominous feeling whenever the antagonist character Angel Eyes is shown on screen. Coming to the Mollywood remake, the late actor Murali who has played several memorable villain roles would have been perfect to essay Angel eyes aka ‘the Ugly’ from the classic ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’.”

Possibility 4: “When you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk”

#Simon Says, "What makes the western action drama ‘The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly’ different from other usual action films is mainly due to its screenplay and also due to its short yet brilliant dialogues. When translating the whole classy English dialogues to Malayalam, it requires an expert writer behind it so that the actual emotion is not lost. No one else would be perfect when you have an expert writer MT Vasudevan Nair to pen down the Malayalam dialogues for the remake.”

#Simon Says, “So we have enjoyed a ride with the legend Clint Eastwood and have also checked out most of the possibilities on #Whatif ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ was made in Malayalam. The film, if executed in a proper way, could indeed boost the stardom of the vintage actor Babu Antony and also with MT Vasudevan Nair on board, the remake would be a classic just as the original Hollywood movie.”
