'Mauli': Reasons to watch the Riteish Deshmukh and Saiyami Kher starrer

Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial 'Mauli' which stars Riteish Deshmukh, Saiyami Kher, Siddharth Jadhav and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles, has created a huge buzz amongst the audience which has made it one of the most anticipated Marathi film of the year. Owing to the overwhelming response, the makers of the film have decided to release on December 14. Riteish Deshmukh, who will be essaying the role of a cop as Mauli Sajerao Deshmukh has even lent his voice to the film's background score. Actress Saiyami Kher, who is making debut in Marathi industry with this film, will be seen playing the female lead opposite to Riteish.

Riteish will also be seen playing a cop and his character has won several hearts in the trailer of the film itself. This is the second time that these maverick personalities will be collaborating for a project.

Riteish Deshmukh will be reuniting with his wife Genelia D'Souza for a special song for his upcoming Marathi film 'Mauli' after a gap of four years. Riteish and Genelia will be seen in a special Holi festival song in their home production venture 'Mauli'. Titled 'Surf Laavun Dhuvun Tak', the song is an out and out entertaining number which will lift your spirits to for the colourful festival of Holi.

After making a brilliant debut in Bollywood with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s 'Mirzya' opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor, Saiyami Kher is all set to cast her spellbinding magic in the Marathi Industry. The gorgeous actress will be sharing screen space with Riteish for the first time in 'Mauli'. Interestingly, not many know that Saiyami is the granddaughter of yesteryear Marathi actress Usha Kiran and since 'Mauli' is her maiden Marathi venture, she wanted to leave no stone unturned in striking the right impact.

After giving the blockbuster music for 'Lai Bhaari', Ajay-Atul Gogavale are all set to weave their magic once again with 'Mauli'. The film has created waves in social media for its much-awaited song, 'Majhi Pandharichi Maay' which had vocals of Ajay-Atul. Ajay-Atul, who have time and again proved their worth with some spectacular performances in films like 'Dhadak' and 'Sairat' seem to strike the right chord once again this time too.
