Shows of Hemant Dhome's 'Sunny' cancelled; How will Marathi movies work? asks filmmaker

Hemant Dhome's much-awaited Marathi film 'Sunny' was released on November 18, 2022. As per the latest update, the shows of Marathi movies are being cancelled. Hemant Dhome has expressed his regret by tweeting about this.
Hemant tweeted, "the audience has been sent a message to inform them that they will get their money back! Now how can we blame the audience that the audience is not going"

"We have no problem with Hindi cinema, on the contrary, we wish you all the best and are also happy.Because it is a positive thing for the entire film industry, but in our own Maharashtra, our Marathi cinema is falling by the wayside. If you have to struggle to get a show for Marathi cinema in this state, it is difficult! The film released on Friday is releasing the next day! People are buying tickets for Sunny and shows are being cancelled! We need a strict law for Marathi cinema!" Dhome added.

It also stars Chinmay Mandekar, Kshitee Jog, Abhishek Deshmukh, Amey Barve, Parth Ketkar, Nandini Joag, Ameeta Kulkarni, Paulo Andre Aragao and Megan Liberty Edmunds in pivotal roles.
