Nilu Phule

The badass of the Marathi film industry, Nilu Phule was prominently known for grey characters he played in Marathi films. He is best known for his roles in the movies, 'Sinhasan', 'Saamana' and 'Pinjara'. He was one of the legendary stage actors of his times. We have hardly seen him playing the good guy as his forte was villainous characters. He also has a major contribution to Hindi cinema. But this villain in films was a hero in real life as he had always worked for the betterment of the society.

Sayaji Shinde

Sayaji Shinde is considered to be the felon of the Marathi film industry. This Marathi actor has acted in, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada movies. Starting with Marathi plays, his acting gained praises and he later moved on to the movies. He is popular for the negative roles he played in the movies, 'Goshta Choti Dongraevadhi', 'Gallit Gondhal Dillit Muzra', 'Bhikari' etc. The reel life baddie is a hero in real life as he helps the drought-affected farmers in western Maharashtra.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar

This versatile actor ruled as a villain for almost 3 decades both in Marathi and Hindi cinema. He was prominently known for the unique style of dialogue delivery. Starting his career with Marathi theatre to his journey of playing major characters in films, he has always won hearts over with his supreme acting skills. His roles in,' ‘Ardh Satya’, 'Kadachit', and 'Doghi' garnered praises by the audiences. This negative character in the films was a gentleman in real life as he was involved in a number of charity organisations.

Milind Gunaji

Another popular name in the Marathi film industry, this actor has never failed to impress us with the kind of roles he played in the movies. He is the best suit for the wicked characters and has gained praises for the grey roles he portrayed in Marathi as well as Hindi films. The politician he played in 'Sambha' was appreciated by the people. Other than Hindi and Marathi films this actor is also actively involved in Telugu and Tamil movies.

He also is popular for his antagonistic image in south films. He has recently done an American-Australian thriller film called 'Hotel Mumbai'.
