Zakhmi: Top five dialogues from the trailer of the Dev Kharoud starrer

The much awaited trailer of the Dev Kharoud starrer ‘Zakhmi’ released today. We already knew that the trailer will be high on action, but that was not it. The trailer was backed with a number of powerful dialogues that have the capacity to leave a mark on the audience. Thus, we have compiled a list of top 5 dialogues from the trailer of ‘Zakhmi’ that will leave you wanting for more.

Scroll down:

2/6

“Bahut darr gya si mera bacha, ae jo shehar ki gandagi tenu darundi hai na mere putt, me tere uthn ton phela phela sari saaf kar du”

This is the second dialogue that one hears once the trailer starts. “Bahut darr gya si mera bacha, ae jo shehar ki gandagi tenu darundi hai na mere putt, me tere uthn ton phela phela sari saaf kar du” (My kid got really scared, the things of this town that scare you, I will clear them all out before you wake up). This dialogue makes it clear that Dev is not just a dotting but protective father, who would not let his daughter come in the harms way no matter what. And this is from where one gets to see major action.

3/6

“Oh ye pyar thoda hai, koi haqdar mil jaye ishq da, tan jaan vi sasti lagadi hai”

Now this dialogue is one of the most beautiful and romantic one. As you watch the trailer, you see Dev’s calling love an expensive affair that he is not ready to afford. To which Dev replies with “Oh ye pyar thoda hai, koi haqdar mil jaye ishq da, tan jaan vi sasti lagadi hai” (This is not love, when you get someone to who can own the feeling called love, then even your own life doesn’t appear to be of much value). This dialogue hints at the chemistry and the level of romance that the movie will be bringing.

4/6

“Apneya layi khud nu badlna kamzori ni taqat hai”

Tired of being played by the system and unable to keep his family safe, when Dev comes to his wife with his head held low, she says “Apneya layi khud nu badlna kamzori ni taqat hai” (To change for the one you love is not a weakness but power). With this she shows her support to Dev, which indeed proves to be his strength, when he fights for the ones he love, and chooses the path he tried to avoid for long.

5/6

“Tussi oo hi karo jo tuanu thik lgda hai, tuadi sardarni tuade naal ae”

Another dialogue with which Dev’s wife Anchal shows her support to him is “Tussi oo hi karo jo tuanu thik lgda hai, tuadi sardarni tuade naal ae” (Do whatever you feel is right, your sardarni is with you). Now in the trailer we see Dev fighting the battles physically, but what one might ignore is the warrior fighting with him in the shadow, his wife. She doesn’t get involved in the arm fight, but her support is what matters the most and keeps Dev determined towards the goal.

6/6

“Parivar bande di kamzori vi te taqat vi”

Since it’s a movie telling the tale of a family man, the trailer would have been incomplete without one power packed dialogue revolving around family. Thus, it closes with the dialogue “Parivar bande di kamzori vi te taqat vi” (Family is a person’s weakness as well as strength). Well, one has to say that the makers did keep the best for the last. And so did we.
