Happy Birthday Guru Randhawa: Top songs of the musical artist that made Bollywood dance to his tunes

Singer, songwriter and music composer Guru Randhawa is one of the artists who has been known to rock both Punjabi and Hindi music worlds. Having said that, he is also the one who has made his mark in Bollywood as well. And today on the occasion of his birthday, we thought why not to recall the top song with which Guru Randhawa made Bollywood dance to his tunes.

2/5

‘High Rated Gabru’

Every Punjabi calls himself the ‘Gabru’, but if we talk about the real ‘High Rated Gabru’ it is none other than our birthday boy - Guru Randhawa. This song earlier only made the Punjabi’s groove, but later in the movie ‘Nawabzaade’ it made Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Even the revamped song kept the Punjabi vibe intact and perhaps that is what made it so special and still a top runner on the charts.

3/5

‘Morni Banke’

‘Aj phir kithe chali hai morni banke morni banke’, these lyrics made people of every age group shake a leg. The song featured in ‘Badhaai Do’ and in the main frame had Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra. The song is a party starter and is played at almost every other wedding, reception, celebration to date.

4/5

‘Lagdi Lahore Di’

Here’s another song of Guru Randhare that made Bollywood dance on his tunes. ‘Lagdi Lahore Di’ was a part of Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi’s dance based movie ‘Street Dancer 3. The upbeat music of the song and the Punjabi lyrics brought the perfect combination for a true dance number.

5/5

‘Kaun Nachdi’

The last song but certainly not least on our list is ‘Kaun Nachdi’ from ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. Released in 2018, the movie in itself was one of the much loved films of the year, and the song ‘Kaun Nachdi’ added another feather to the hat. Picturized on a beach party, this song became a party anthem in no time.
