We are a family of pet lovers: Jayaram

Jayaram says he can't keep a count on the number of animals in his house.
Actor Jayaram says his whole family loves animals and pets as much as he does.Jayaram's love of elephants and the fact the he actually owns an elephant of his own is common knowledge, but the actor says it is just one of his numerous pets.
To such an extent that he can't really keep a count on the number of animals around, he says."One fine day, my daughter Chakki will suddenly ask for a calf. I will procure one somehow but at night it will start bleating and my daughter starts crying along with it, begging that it be taken back to its mother.
There have been instances where I have taken these animals back in the car in the middle of the night!" But such incidents never deter his daughter, he says, and the next day she would ask for a goat. Besides these, any dog or cat in the neighbourhood, which is injured or lost, eventually finds its way to their house, says the actor.
