'Leader' box office collection day 7: Legend Saravanan’s film sees consistent footfalls

Legend Saravanan is back in cinemas with his latest action drama, 'Leader,' which is his second film featuring him as the main lead after the release of 'The Legend' in 2022. 'Leader' box office collection shows steady first-week trend

At the box office, 'Leader' witnessed gradual growth during its opening weekend before settling into a stable weekday trend. According to Sacnilk, the film opened with around Rs 0.77 Cr on Day 1 (Friday). Collections were relatively better on Day 2 (Saturday) with Rs. 1.08 Cr and further increased to Rs. 1.15 Cr on Day 3 (Sunday), showing good audience interest. Daily drop showed a daily drop after that – getting around Rs. 0.36 Cr on Day 5 (Tuesday) and Rs. 0.29 Cr on Day 6 (Wednesday).

On Thursday, the 7th day, Leader earned about 0.26 crores net in India from 886 shows, bringing its total gross to approximately 4.88 crores in India and net collection to about 4.26 crores. Earlier, the makers had also announced that the film grossed over Rs 25 crore worldwide within the first three days of its release.

Payal Rajput plays the female lead with Andrea Jeremiah, VTV Ganesh, Shyam, Aranthangi Nisha, and Madurai Muthu in key roles. Director Durai Senthilkumar has crafted the film with action, emotion, and mass elements to entertain the audiences in theatres.
