2.0 preview: Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer looks to meet huge expectations
2.0 is a film which has been talked about for quite a long time, right from the film went on floors. The cast, crew and director have grabbed a lot of attention. The track record of the duo Rajini-Shankar has been excellent that people expect a blockbuster every time they come together for a film.

This film also marks Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s debut in Kollywood. This has interested a lot of Bollywood followers in watching the film. Director Shankar in a recent interview revealed that Akshay Kumar’s antagonist role was supposed to be played by Hollywood great Arnold Schwarzenegger and that the legendary actor was quite impressed with the film, the deal fell through during the contract negotiation stage. He also revealed that he roped in several global technicians to make the film as close as Hollywood sci-fi film. He has stressed the audience to watch the film in 3D, because it is a VFX heavy film, which has demanded a lot of work from the best VFX artists.
Apart from the star studded cast of the film which includes Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, Oscar winner AR Rahman’s songs and background music is one of the major highlights of the film. We hear that the music composer has travelled to many places across the globe to compose music for the trilingual (Tamil, Hindi and Telugu) film. 2.0 is one of the costliest films of Indian cinema, it has cost a whopping Rs 543 crores to make the film, which is costlier than few Hollywood blockbusters. The audience have received the teaser and trailer very well and are eagerly waiting to catch their Superstar as Chiti the robot.

Huge expectations await this magnum-opus, produced at a very huge cost and unprecedented number of screens all over the world will ensure record collections including China and Japan, UK and the USA and from Arabian countries.Our Indian audiences expect a story with emotional appeal but this film 2.0 has more of VFX and Sc-Fi data.
