Rajinikanth. With fans celebrating the 30th anniversary of Annamalai on social media, the young music composer also took shared his connection with the film.

The blockbuster movie, directed by Suresh Krissna, released in 1992. The cast includes Rajinikanth, Khushbu and Sarath Babu with Radha Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi and Manorama in supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by Deva.
The film remains the favourite of several Superstar fans even today, thanks to the ever-popular songs including the intro song ‘Vanthenda Paalkaran’, his chemistry with Khushbu, his dual appearances, powerful dialogues, music by Deva, engaging tale of friendship, effective antagonists and tightly-woven screenplay.
This film is also credited to have introduced the iconic Superstar Rajinikanth title card in the begining of the film with the terrific background score. The successful trio of Rajinkanth, Suresh Krissna and Deva later came together for another all-time blockbuster Baasha.
