Actor Arun Vijay got the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today (May 6). The star actor informed his fans that he got vaccinated against the coronavirus on Thursday, and also urged everyone to get vaccinated with a social media post.
Sharing a picture of himself getting the vaccine shot, Arun Vijay posted, "Got vaccinated!! With the world facing these dark times, it is our social responsibility to act wise.

He further urged everyone to follow the safety guidelines, get vaccinated and also try and stay home to stay safe. As India begins to speed up it COVID-19 vaccination, some of the top celebrities from the film fraternity have also started to get themselves vaccinated for coronavirus. Actress Radikaa, Kamal Haasan, Harris Jayaraj, Suhashina Maniratnam and Simran got themselves vaccinated recently.
Meanwhile on the work front, Arun Vijay, who was last seen in director Karthick Narean's 'Mafia: Chapter 1', has 'Agni Siragugal', 'Boxer', 'Sinam' and 'Borrder' in various stages of production.
