Making of 'Cobra'

Speaking about the film’s production and challenges, Amaran shares, "We did our research, prior to stepping into the project. We filmed an important sequence for the film in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and the temperature was -13 degree celsius which people in Russia have never faced in 200 years. It was challenging, Saint Petersburg has an important connection in the history of Russia and its revolution, so we had to shoot there."

"A team from Mumbai helped us in developing the different looks of Vikram sir. He is a highly dedicated actor. It took hours of preparation for each of his looks and he did it with so much love. His makeovers were done not just to bring versatility, but was quintessential for the film's story", Amaran adds.

"Ajay Gnanamuthu is really a skilled director and he has a great focus. It was a learning experience working with the director. We have shot for the film in Russia, Chennai, Kerala, and Kolkata, and the making of the wedding song in Kerala and rain fight scene are my favourites. About social media trolls and hatred against 'Cobra'
