Ajith starrer 'Valimai' was released today (Feb 24), and the actor, who has a tremendous fan following, was received in style with massive celebrations. The celebrations have been on high since yesterday as fans waited more than two years to witness 'Valimai' on big screens. But several actions of fans and others during the 'Valimai' celebrations have turned into a topic on social media. Here is a look at five activities on the 'Valimai' day that turned headlines.

Fans rob curd and milk from the van

Tamil Nadu milk association head Ponnusamy warned milk sellers to save their milk as Ajith fans might steal milk to anoint the actor's cut out in theaters. As he said, fans who arrived in front of a theater in Chennai had blocked a milk van, and stolen curd and milk packets from the van. A couple of fans climbed the van from behind and stole a few packets for their celebration.

Boney Kapoor’s car bathed in milk by fans

Boney Kapoor visited a popular theater in Chennai to enjoy the film with fans. The 'Valimai' producer had a great time watching the film as he was happy with their response. But it was a great shock for the producer to see his parked car fully washed with curd and milk. Boney Kapoor didn't react too much and moved out calmly from the crowd.

Petrol bomb blast

'Valimai' has occupied more than 20 screens in Coimbatore city, and the film has also got special shows starting at 4 AM. An unidentified person had blasted a petrol bomb at the theater arena to show their objection. Fortunately, no one was injured in the mishap, and police have registered a case regarding the attack.

Special arrangement at theatres

There will be massive celebrations during the release of Ajith's films, and fans will be celebrating the film by dancing together with the actor nearby the silver screen. So a theater owner has built a board with steel nails in front of the silver screen to prevent fans from reaching the silver screen.

Damaged a theater in Salem

'Valimai' special show got delayed in a theater in Salem, and fans, who arrived well ahead of the show, got irritated because of it. They pushed to move into the theater and broke the glass walls to enter the theater. Again, fortunately, no injuries, and the theater owner allowed fans immediately into the theater to calm the situation.
