In this film, Suriya played dual roles both as Father Krishnan and son Surya. The movie is emotional and inspiring, exploring the bond between father and son. ‘Ghajini’

In this film Suriya played the role of Sanjay Ramasamy, a businessman who suffers from short-term memory loss and his performance in this psychological thriller was widely praised. The film revolves around his quest for revenge after his girlfriend Kalpana (played by Asin) is murdered and Suriya's intense expressions, emotional depth, and physical transformation stood out.

This was Suriya's breakthrough role as Anbuselvan, a brave and silent cop.
