Goan singer Kenishaa Francis reacts to a fan asking, 'Is Jayam Ravi safe with you?' amidst relationship rumours

Jayam Ravi’s announcement about his divorce from his wife, Aarti Ravi, created a shockwave on the internet, and it was further fueled by Aarti’s Instagram post, where she claimed Jayam made the announcement without her knowledge. Now, there is a report suggesting that Jayam Ravi has been in a secret relationship with singer Kenishaa Francis.

Ever since the divorce news began spreading like wildfire, fans have been eager to know the reason behind it and started sharing their theories following Aarti’s Instagram post. Kenishaa Francis is now facing serious questions about her alleged involvement with Jayam Ravi, especially in the comments section of her Instagram post, where she shared a picture of herself in white casual wear with the caption, “I’ve normalized waking up happy for myself ��.” One Instagram user wrote, “Is Jayam Ravi safe with you?”

Kenishaa did not hesitate to respond, writing, “Are you safe with your parents? Are you safe with yourself and all your insecurities? Are you safe with all the friends you currently have around you? Are you a safe person to others in the first place? I wish you peace and love.”

At the same time, many of her followers supported her, to which she replied humbly in the same post.

The rumors started when Nakeeran magazine claimed that Jayam Ravi had been in a secret relationship with Kenishaa. They allegedly met during one of his vacations in Goa, where the 'Siren' actor was captivated by the Goan singer’s voice and music. The report also mentioned an incident where the two were fined for speeding while driving in Jayam’s vehicle. Interestingly, it was Aarti who received the alert about the fine, leading to arguments between the couple.


The magazine further claimed that Jayam skipped his 14th wedding anniversary celebration with Aarti and their family, choosing instead to be in Goa with Kenishaa, where they allegedly purchased a bungalow together.

On September 9, 2024, Jayam Ravi shared a note on Twitter stating that the couple was mutually ending their 15-year marriage: “After much thought and discussion, I have taken the difficult decision to proceed with the dissolution of my marriage with Aarti. This decision was not made hastily and stems from personal reasons that I believe are in the best interests of everyone involved."

However, later, Aarti shared an Instagram post revealing that she and her family were completely blindsided by the news and that she had no idea about the divorce.
