A five-minute clip from Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film 'Jana Nayagan' has leaked online and the leaked footage reportedly includes the title credits and Vijay’s introduction scene.

The leaked clip quickly spread on multiple platforms, leaving fans shocked and upset. Many took to social media to tag the production house KVN Productions and demand strict action against those responsible for the leak.


One fan wrote, "This farewell feels completely ruined, seeing him end his career like this is one of the worst things to watch." Another commented, "Nanba and Nanbis don't share leaked Clips."

CBFC issues and release delay

'Jana Nayagan' was originally scheduled to release on January 9 but was postponed after the Central Board of Film Certification withheld the certificate, citing scenes that could hurt public sentiment.

After a month-long legal standoff, the makers agreed to send the film to the revising committee. The new release date is yet to be announced.

'Jana Nayagan' is Thalapathy Vijay’s last film before he fully transitions into politics. Directed by H. Vinoth, the political action thriller features music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.
