'Jana Nayagan': Thalapathy Vijay's film faces censor struggle, Will the action drama face a delay?

The highly anticipated film ‘Jana Nayagan', featuring Thalapathy Vijay, is presently nearing its film certification by the censors, who have recommended a few modifications and cuts for the film to get a clearance. Slated for a release on January 9, the film’s team has been said to be given instructions to bring in a few cuts in the film and also tone down some dialogues as per the norm of the censor certificate. The film will then be resubmitted for certification after incorporating the changes.

As per The Hindu, the producers are communicating closely to make the necessary changes and still ensure that the pacing of the film is well maintained. It is reported that such works are expected to have been done in a short period of time to allow the film to work within its release timeline.

Meanwhile, the film's production team is also preparing for a big event to take place after the censor process is completed. There are discussions regarding the trailer launch for ‘Jana Nayagan’ during the New Year festivities on December 31. The anticipation is to create a buzz before its Pongal release by showcasing the film’s action-packed moments and ensemble cast.
