'Sethu'

'Sethu' marked the directorial debut of famous director Bala, and the hard-hitting performance played by Vikram made him popular among the audience. 'Sethu', which is a lovely romantic drama, packed with action scenes in the first half, turns completely a different in the second half. Vikram played a mentally ill person in the movie and his emotional scenes will make you feel for him. What was even more gripping than the entire film was the climax where he meets the love of his life. It is an unforgettable moment for his fans who have watched the film in the theatres.

'Kadhal'

The 2004 romantic drama 'Kadhal' features Bharath and Sandhya in lead roles. Balaji Sakthivel, who worked as an assistant director of popular director S Shankar, directed the film and delivered a great successful film. The story of the film is about young lovers of two different castes, and the problem they face after their wedding. The unexpected revelation at the climax will surprise you, and at the same time, you will feel worried for the lead character Murugan played by Bharath.

'Mynaa'

Director Prabhu Solomon, who was delivering calm hits, became popular after the release of 'Mynaa'. The romantic thriller has been packed with several twists, and the director presented it in a most lovely way. But the back-to-back death scenes of the lead roles will make you bothered. 'Mynaa' features Vidharth, Amala Paul, Thambi Ramaiah, Sethu, and others. Thambi Ramaiah won the National Award for Best Supporting actor at the 58th National Film Awards.

'Paruthiveeran'

The rural entertainer 'Paruthiveeran' marked the debut of actor Karthi, and he displayed monstrous acting in his debut. Being a happy film for almost two hours, it turns a complete shocker at the climax. Karthi and Priyamani played the lead roles, while Saravanan, Ponnavannan, Sujatha Sivakumar, and Sampath Raj played supporting roles.

'Deiva Thirumagal'

AL Vijay's directorial 'Deiva Thirumagal' is a typical father and daughter story, where the father is mentally challenged. The film's story is about the father and daughter love and their sudden separation. Forgetting that it's a film, it will move you in tears when the on-screen father and daughter, Vikram and Baby Sarah, meet at the court. GV Prakash Kumar's musical is also the main reason for the success of the film.
