Karthi’s in no hurry to sign films

There were reports doing the rounds that Karthi has green lighted a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Needi Naadi Oke Katha director Venu Udugula. However, we’ve learnt from the actor’s camp that he has neither met the filmmaker nor has he signed on any new film. A source close to Karthi says, “It was said that Venu narrated the plot of his next to the actor, and an impressed Karthi had asked him to come up with a script.However, no such meeting has happened. Karthi has just completed work on Kadaikutty Singam with Pandiraj and will soon start shooting for debutant Rajath Ravishankar’s film with Rakul Preet Singh. He hasn’t said okay to any other film as of now.”
