'Paarvathaa01': Ken Karunas' debut directorial wraps up filming, first single to be out soon

Actor Ken Karunas' new film, tentatively titled 'Paarvathaa01' is going to hit the screens in March 2026. The shooting of the film, marking the debut of Ken Karunas as a director, has been successfully completed on Tuesday (December 23) after shooting for 60 continuous days. Following this major development, the film team has released an official statement that the first look of the film and its first single will be out soon. This has also raised the anticipation of the fans even more.Ken Karunas, the son of actor-politician Karunas and singer Grace Karunas, has earlier wowed everyone with his acting prowess in films such as 'Asuran' (2019) and 'Viduthalai 2' (2024) directed by Vetri Maaran. Now, he is debuting as a director with ‘Paarvathaa01’. The film is said to be set in a school environment and is touted to be an entertaining film that is a combination of fun, emotions, and a taste of things. The experience of adolescence in the school-going student’s life and the friendships they develop are said to be the focal points. The film features the lead roles played by actress Devadarshini and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu. The team claims that their experience and portrayals will be an additional asset to the film. Ken Karunas, Vignesh Srikanth, and Eeshwar Santhanalakshmi have penned lyrics for songs as per reports..
