Ram and Nivin Pauly's 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' selected for the Rotterdam International Film Festival

Directed by Ram, 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' features Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori in the lead roles. The yet-to-be-released film has been selected to be screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.

Nivin Pauly joined hands with director Ram for his next straight Tamil film, which has been titled 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' and the film shooting was wrapped up long back. Despite the film being ready for release, director Ram has opted to premiere the film in multiple film festivals before its theatrical release. As a first step, 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' has been officially selected for the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Nivin Pauly has announced the film's selection for the 53rd IFFR and expressed his happiness.

Yes! The World Premiere is @IFFR", captioned Nivin Pauly by sharing a new poster of 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai'. The 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) is to happen from 25 January to 4 February 2024, and the team will be promoting the film at the IFFR.


'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' is reported to be based on the life of a fisherman, Nivin Pauly will be seen playing a never-before character and he is expected to make a comeback in Tamil with the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the upcoming, and the film's first single was earlier released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam languages.
