This marks Sasikumar's second collaboration with director Era Saravanan, following their work on the rural drama 'Udanpirappe'.After attending a special screening of 'Nandhan', Sivakarthikeyan shared his thoughts in a video message, where he praised the film and Sasikumar's performance. He lauded Sasikumar for portraying an innocent character with a natural and composed demeanor throughout the movie. Sivakarthikeyan described 'Nandhan' as a fantastic film that evoked both laughter and deep reflection at various points. He also became emotional towards the film's conclusion, giving it a standing ovation.
