'Thalapathy 68': Vijay and Venkat Prabhu's film to get an English title

Vijay and Venkat Prabhu have joined hands for 'Thalapathy 68'. As per the reports, the film will have an English title. As the title and first-look poster of 'Thalapathy 68' is expected to be unveiled shortly, the excitement around the title is also skyrocketing.

Venkat Prabhu has reportedly locked in three titles for the film, and the title 'Boss' has reportedly impressed Vijay and the team. 'Thalapathy 68' will be reportedly titled 'Boss' and the title in English might give the film a pan-Indian reach. Vijay's film titles mostly have a connection with dialogues or the lyrics from his previously released films.



Directed by Venkat Prabhu, 'Thalapathy 68' is reported to be a time travel film, and the film is said to be inspired by the Hollywood film 'Looper'. Vijay is said to be playing a dual role, and Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead. The multi-starrer drama has a stellar star cast that includes Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Ajmal, Mohan, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, and Aakash Aravindh among others. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, and the film's first single is expected to arrive following the first look poster.
