For the unversed, the film is currently embroiled in a CBFC certification row with its release being effectively halted. The High Court is set to give out its verdict on the censorship of the film. At a recent congregation, Thalapathy Vijay dismissed political and legal pressure regarding the stalled release of his final film, 'Jana Nayagan', asserting that he would never bow down to any external influence.Speaking out about the censor row for the first time, Vijay offered an assertive stance: “We never kneel before any pressure. Does this face look like pressure can overcome him?” Attended by various state and district leaders, the meeting surprisingly skipped any direct addressing of the ongoing crisis surrounding the release of the film, 'Jana Nayagan'.
