Unni Mukundan joins Samantha's Yashoda

After actress Samantha began shooting for her new pan-Indian film 'Yashoda' earlier this month, we had recently reported that actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has joined the cast of the film and also also begun shooting for it. Now, the latest is that Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has also joined the team.
Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the film is being directed by director duo Hari and Harish.Unni Mukundan, who plays the role of Gautham in the film, made his acting debut first in Tamil in Dhanush's 'Seedan'. He also played an important role in the Anushka Shetty-starrer 'Bhaagamathie'.


Actress Samantha posted, "Thankyou for being a part of #Yashoda" (sic)

The filming of 'Yashoda' is expected to be completed by March 2022. Touted to be a new-age thriller, the film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The technical team consists of Mani Sharma and M Sukumar handling the music and cinematography, respectively.
