'Vaadi Vaasal': Suriya to follow Kamal Haasan's footsteps for Vetri Maaran directorial

Now, the latest report is that Suriya will follow Kamal Haasan's footsteps for Vetri Maaran directorial. Kamal Haasan had practiced with a bull for a Jallikattu scene in his own directorial 'Virumaandi'.Likewise, now Suriya will be practicing with a bull to match his role in the typical drama 'Vaadi Vaasal', which is directed by Vetri Maaran.
'Vaadi Vaasal' title look poster clearly explains to the audience that the film is going to focus on the ancient Tamil sport. The shooting of 'Vaadi Vaasal' is set to begin in August, and the next announcement is expected to be made on Suriya's birthday on July 23. The female lead for the film is not yet announced, and fans are excited to hear about it soon.
GV Prakash Kumar is scoring music for 'Vaadi Vaasal', while the cinematography is handled by R Velraj. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and the producer has collaborated with Suriya after 16 years.
