'Valimai' star Ajith joins Boney Kapoor and Jhanvi Kapoor for Sridevi's prayer meet in Chennai

On the second death anniversary of Bollywood actress Sridevi as per the Hindu calendar, husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Janhvi of the actress flew down to Chennai to attend her prayer meeting. Thala Ajith, who has been working under Boney Kapoor's production in 'Valimai', also joined Boney and Jhanvi for the prayer meet at Sridevi’s maternal home in Chennai.




Jhanvi Kapoor shared some pictures from the meet on her Instagram account where the ‘Dhadak’ star was seen sharing a light moment with the guests who are her cousins from her mother’s side.With the caption that reads, “Wish you were here,” Janhvi is clearly missing her mother sorely. Earlier, on February 24, Jhanvi shared a childhood picture of her with mother Sridevi and remembered her on her second death anniversary.

Sridevi started her acting career at the age of four with the Tamil film 'Kandan Karunai’. The actress then made her debut as a lead actress in the film 'Moondru Mudichu' at the age of 13 and then there was no turning back. The actress went on to act across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films and she was lovingly called the first female superstar of Indian Cinema by her fans. She was last seen in the 2017 film 'Mom' and her performance was highly acclaimed and appreciated.
