Vetri, Kishen & Deepthie star in a psychological emotional drama

Vetri, Kishen Das, and Deepthie Orintelu are playing lead roles in a psychological drama titled Eerapadham Kaatru Mazhai. Directed by Saleem R Baadshah, the film explores the emotional psychology of three characters in the film.

The director says that the story revolves around the theme of how one’s nature, whether good or evil, is shaped by societal judgments. “The film unfolds as three distinct stories. Vetri is a sales executive who is looking to prosper in life. Deepthie is an accountant navigating life’s challenges, and Kishen plays a character entangled in burglary,” he informs.

The three characters are shot against three different locations Triplicane, Nungambakkam, and Ennore, and are the reason behind the film’s title moisture, rain and love. Despite the characters taking different routes, they converge at a common point. “We have done this film in an unorthodox pattern. It is not like a usual film with a three-act structure. The reason is because we have portrayed the stories of the three characters differently,” he adds.

The film’s cinematography is handled by Amal Tomy and its music is scored by Sriram Venkatesh.
