Vishal reflects on his transition to an action hero in 'Sandakozhi' 18 years back

Vishal is one of the popular heroes in Tamil cinema, and he delivered several action packed films. The tall and bold actor made his debut with 'Chellamae', but he transformed into action through 'Sandakozhi'. As 'Sandakozhi' completes 18 years, Vishal took to social media to share his affection for the action drama.


"Can't believe or even put in words the feelings and emotions I am going through this day which made my career 18 years ago on Dec 16th, 2005 as an action hero in Tamil cinema through the magical #Sandakozhi on the silver screen. There was no looking back for me then on who was just one among the audience which I continue to be after all these years for the sole reason of the love and affection showered by one and all till date. I bow down and thank God above me and the Gods (Samy) in order of my Parents, my Director Lingu (samy) who believed in me and finally, the God I see in the theatres in the form of audiences worldwide. Always indebted to you all and will continue this dream of my Father #GKReddy and my guru #Arjun sir. I do know that Thank you is just not enough. God Bless", wrote Vishal sharing a furious picture of him.


Vishal is next working on 'Rathnam', which is directed by Hari, and the film shooting has reached the final stage. Reported to be an action entertainer, 'Rathanam' has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead and the film music is taken care of by Devi Sri Prasad.
