Why did STR support Sivakarthikeyan?

Sivakarthikeyan���s emotional outburst at the thanksgiving press meet of his recent release Remo has become a hot topic in the industry. Though no one responded to his speech, actor STR came forward to support him. He posted on his micro-blogging page, ���Don't worry shiva .Not only u ,even i know who they r and thats what they r good at.Hard work is all that matters .Leave the rest to god���.
The actor, however, clarified that he was not a close friend of Sivakarthikeyan, but that he sympathized with him. According to an online report, he said that he had gone through a similar situation during the Beep Song controversy when no one from the industry came in support of him, which is why he chose to support Sivakarthikeyan.
