Chiranjeevi's 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu' has emerged as Sankranti's biggest release, raking in a staggering Rs 222.5 crore worldwide. The family entertainer, featuring Nayanthara and a special appearance by Venkatesh, captivated audiences with its blend of action, drama, and comedy. Sunday saw impressive theatrical occupancy, peaking at 74.95% in the evening.
Tollywood giant Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ has turned into the biggest release of the festive Sankranti window. The family entertainer, directed by Anil Ravipudi, starring Nayanthara as the female lead is enjoying a strong presence at the box office since its release on January 12.As per Sacnilk, the film had already seen a stronger start on its opening day, making Rs 41.6 crore. Later on Tuesday, the movie made Rs 18.75 crore and later added Rs 19.5 crore on Wednesday on the occasion of Sankranti. The film added Rs 22 crore and again Rs 19.5 crore on Thursday and Friday, respectively, setting it up for a big weekend. On Saturday, the movie added Rs 18.9 crore to its kitty, and as per initial box office reports, the film's collection on Sunday was estimated at Rs 17.50 crore. The total collection of the film thus stands at an impressive Rs 157.75 crore, with worldwide collection at staggering Rs 222.5 crore.

Theatrical occupancy

Speaking of theatre occupancy on Sunday, the movie had an overall 59.67% Telugu occupancy and recorded 45.51% during morning shows, which gradually increased to 67.79% by afternoon. The numbers peaked to an all-time high during evening shows with a 74.95% occupancy rate.

The film also stars Tollywood veteran Daggubati Venkatesh playing a special rolel along with Catherine Tresa and Sachin Khedekar in key roles.
