The blockbuster sequel has reportedly amassed an impressive USD 1.7 billion at the global box office, surpassing the 2024 release 'Inside Out 2', which earned USD 1.69 billion. With this, 'Zootopia 2' has become Hollywood’s highest-grossing animated film of all time. China's 'Ne Zha 2', continues to hold the overall record for animated films with a staggering USD 2.25 billion.'Zootopia 2' has also secured its place among the highest grossing films of all time, taking the ninth spot on the list of the highest-grossing global release. It now sits just behind the superhero film 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' which earned a lifetime collection of USD 1.9 billion, and 'Avengers: Infinity War' which earned a lifetime collection of USD 2 billion.

'The Housemaid' box office collections

In fourth place at USD 10.2 million was 'The Housemaid', an adaptation of Freida McFadden's best-selling novel about a young woman who is hired by a wealthy couple with dark secrets. Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried star in the Lionsgate release. The film has grossed a total collection of USD 109 million in the United States and Canada, and an aditional USD 139 million in other territories. The film has turned out to be a profitable box office venture with a worldwide total of USD 198 million.'Marty Supreme' rounds up top 5'Marty Supreme', starring Oscars frontrunner Timothee Chalamet as a conniving 1950s table tennis player with big dreams, finished in fifth place at USD 6.7 million.
