Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna amazed by Japanese fan’s Telugu skills; 'Pushpa' star cracks ‘marry a Telugu girl’ joke

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna recently visited Japan to promote their 2024 film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, which has been released in the country. During one of the interactions, something very unexpected happened. A Japanese fan suddenly started speaking to them in Telugu. Both actors were shocked.

Telugu talk that shocked the stars

An Instagram handle, named Kazu, shared a picture with Allu Arjun and Rashmika on social media. In the photo, all three are seen doing the famous ‘Pushpa 2’ hand gesture. Sharing it, Kazu wrote, “I had the honor of interviewing two of India’s leading actors, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna! There was even an unexpected Telugu surprise! Grateful for the incredible opportunity.”

He also posted a video wishing them a Happy Sankranthi.

Allu Arjun jokes with the fan

In the video, Allu Arjun first speaks to Kazu in Japanese. Kazu replies in Japanese and then switches to Telugu. He says, “You are the pride of Telugu movies. I’m learning Telugu. Please bear with my Telugu.”

Both actors look surprised. Rashmika claps and smiles. Allu Arjun jokes, “You should marry a Telugu girl also,” making everyone laugh. Kazu then says Telugu is a beautiful language and that he wants to visit India. Rashmika Mandanna tells him his Telugu is “incredible,” especially when he says it is his first time speaking the language.

Upon its initial release, ‘Pushpa 2’ had a massive impact. It made over Rs 1742.1 crore worldwide.

Allu Arjun is now working on the sci-fi film, tentatively called ‘AA22xA6’, directed by Atlee. The film also features Deepika Padukone. His film with Lokesh Kanagaraj is also officially announced.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna got huge praise for her latest film, ‘The Girlfriend’, where her performance and director Rahul Ravindran’s vision were applauded.
