Book your tickets for ‘DevaDas’ right away! 4 reasons to do so

The wait is finally over for one of the craziest multi-starrers in the history of Telugu cinema. Featuring Natural Star Nani and King Nagarjuna Akkineni in lead roles, ‘DevaDas’ is all set for a massive release tomorrow. Directed by ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’ and ‘Samanthakamani’ fame Sriram Adittya, the action-romantic entertainer casts two gorgeous divas in the form of Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh, with Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor playing a crucial role. This most-anticipated film is bankrolled by popular producer Ashwini Dutt under his prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies.

Doused with comedy, romance and action, the teaser & trailer of ‘DevaDas’ have generated good curiosity and interest among the Telugu audience, and the film is expected to take a flying start at the box-office both on the home turf and abroad. With two popular stars from different generations coming together to rock the screen, entertainment seems to be certainly guaranteed. So, why late? Book your tickets for ‘DevaDas’ right away and we list the reasons on why you should do so.

2/5

‘Natural Star’ Nani and ‘Yuva Samrat’ Nagarjuna

‘DevaDas’ is perhaps the third film after ‘SVSC’ and ‘Gopala Gopala’ to feature two big names in the current Tollywood. While the Akkineni scion is portraying the role of a gangster named Deva, Nani will be seen as doctor Das. The funny tete-a-tete between both the actors in the 50-second teaser has worked wonders for the film by giving a sneak peek of what to expect. Nagarjuna’s stylish portrayal of a don blended with Nani’s uncanny humour as a doctor makes ‘DevaDas’ a riveting and fun-filled watch for film folks over the weekend.

3/5

Aakanksha Singh and Rashmika Mandanna

Basking on the blockbuster success of her latest film ‘Geetha Govindam’, Kannada beauty Rashmika is currently on cloud nine with several big films in her kitty. The 22-year-old actress has romanced Nani in ‘DevaDas’ and her spirited presence is sure to lift up the glamour quotient in the film. ‘Malli Raava’ bombshell Aakanksha Singh has bagged the golden opportunity to pair up opposite Nagarjuna in her second Telugu flick itself. Going by the promos, both the leading ladies look sizzling hot on the screen, especially in the songs.

4/5

Mani Sharma is back!

Veteran music director Mani Sharma who has been composing songs for more than two decades delivered a successful album for ‘DevaDas’. And his brilliant background score needs no introduction. All songs in the film have managed to connect with the listeners, particularly ‘Emo Emo’ and ‘Vaaru Veeru’. Once the movie releases, the songs are expected to become bigger hits with the lead actors shaking their legs to the peppy tunes. Aakanksha looked gorgeous beside Nag in ‘Varru Veeru’ number.

5/5

An Ensemble cast with top-notch production values

Apart from Nag, Nani, Rashmika and Aakanksha, ‘DevaDas’ boards a prominent cast which includes veteran hero R Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore and Naveen Chandra in pivotal roles. The special addition is Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor who is foraying into Tollywood for the first time to play a crucial cameo.

As expected, the production values are top-notch in the film. Vyjayanthi Movies is literally like a home banner for Nagarjuna as the 59-year-old ‘Manmadhudu’ did the highest number of films than any male lead in this renowned production house.
