Chandoo Mondeti gets Akshay Kumar & Rana Daggubati on board for a historical thriller
After the success of Thandel, Chandoo Mondeti is raising the stakes for his next project. The Telugu filmmaker has pulled off a casting coup, roping in Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati for a high-octane historical thriller.
Confirming the development, a source close to the production tells Hyderabad Times, “Akshay Kumar has given his nod and Rana Daggubati is officially on board. Chandoo has spent months researching the subject, and the project is now in the pre-production stage. This is being mounted as a major pan-India spectacle.”
